Make a wish card

I made this fairly simple card using two patterned paper that are alike in two different colors, matting the inner piece in a burgundy.  The patterned papers are Anna Griffin.  I then used four buttons and two layers of ribbon, and finished by adding a preprinted sentiment that says "Make a Wish."

"Elegant Edges" Boxed Gift Card Set #6

Yet another gift card set using the Elegant Edges Cartridge on the front of the box and also using the new Lemon Flower Stack by DCWV.

"Elegant Edges" balloon boxed gift card set #5

This balloon set was made using first of all my very new favorite Cricut Cartridge, "Elegant Edges." The label on which the balloons are resting is found on that cart on page 47.  It is the snowflake label.  I used the oblong feature to make it look more like a cloud than a snowflake! The patterned papers are from the itsy bitsy paper stack by K and Company.   The balloons are from a Martha Stewart balloon punch, and I punched them out twice and layered them with a popdot so they would be dimensional.  I then added bakers twine to them.  The photo corners are punched from a corner punch by Fiskars and the banner label containing the sentiment is from a spellbinders die.  I then stamped a simple sentiment on to each card, and added a premade bow I bought at walmart.

Martha Stewart "Vintage Lace" Baby Card

I made this card for the Shabby Tea Room Baby Card Challenge using the Martha Stewart Vintage Lace punches and a Giggle sticker from K and Company.  I can't remember who makes the bunny sticker.  It is an A2 size card although the pink lace border does come off the card about a quarter of an inch.

Boxed Gift Card Set #4

I am entering this in the More than favors Wacky Wednesday Challenge.  The theme is "anything goes," and this certainly applies to that.  These are the Sweet Nectar Papers from K and Company.  It is a box I made from a 10 by 10 inch square of cardstock, with four note cards and envelopes.

Card Box #3 and Elegant Edges Scalloped Circle

Here is another one of my boxes or gift baskets full of cards and envelopes that I love to make to give away as gifts.  I used a thankyou stamp I got years ago at the dollar store, and popped it off a scalloped 3 inch circle from the Elegant Edges cartridge.  The paper is from K and company's Greenhouse paper stack.

Cricut Imagine Cartridge "Nursery Tails" card #1

The background paper is the only paper that is from the Nursery Tails Cartridge here.  The owl and mushroom stickers are K and Company and the checked bow is a premade bow from the sewing section at Walmart. Alos, the sentiment is a rub, which I love to use, they are so easy and professional looking!  Finally, the owl is sitting on a scalloped circle which I punched out and then embossed using the cuttlebug's swiss dots folder!

Mother's Day Bouquet Card #4

Well, I must really love the Mother's Day Bouquet Cartridge because I am using it like crazy! I believe it is the single most useful cartridge Provocraft has made yet!

"Doodlecharms" Cartridge--Seahorse card

I used the Doodlecharms cartridge for this seahorse.  I liked this seahorse more than the seahorses in other cartridges.  I used bright, unconventional colors and made it an A2 sized card!

Sketch 114 Card Patterns--Anna Griffin's Fifi and Fido

This card is for sketch 114 at Card Patterns Weekly Sketch.  I used Anna Griffin's new Fifi and Fido Collection for the entire card.  The ribbon is however, is from Michael's dollar bin. I just loved the little polka dot scottie dog on which the best friend sentiment is resting!

"Elegant Edges" MOM card

Click on images to see full size
This card is made using the Elegant Edges Cartridge and the Lace and Linen Premium Stack by DCWV.  The background paper is actually ONE piece of paper which made it really easy on me to just add some embellishments and be done.  It is 5"by7" and the oblong scallop is cut at 3 1/2 inches with the khaki oval cut at 3 inches from an oval punch.  The flowers are all by Recollections from Michaels.  I then added a "MOM" sentiment from chipboard which I glued to a banner I folded out of white cardstock. I made this card for the Wacky Wednesday Mother's Day challenge over at http://morethanfavors.blogspot.com/2011/05/wacky-wednesday-37-mothers-day-theme.html as welll as for the http://papercutzchallenge.blogspot.com/ challenge they have every Friday!

Ciao #2 with Elegant Edges Cartridge cards

Click on image to see full size
These two cards, which really only have the difference of the bow on them, are both the same sketch design as the Ciao card below.  I wanted to do more cards with that design and stamp because I liked how the first pink one below turned out.  These cards are 5 1/2 by 8 inches and the elegant edges scallop which the ciao stamp of the leaning tower of Pisa from Close to My Heart, sits on is cut at 4 1/2 inches in oblong.  I used Chocolate pigment ink by Anna Griffin to stamp both the sentiment and the image and then clear embossed them.  All the patterned papers are from the Flea Market paper pack by Colorbok and the roses are by Recollections from Michael's.  The satin ribbons are from Michael's and are 1 1/2 inches wide.  The crocheted ribbon is from Joann's and is by Offray.  Now I just need to make a couple of envelopes big enough for these huge cards!!

Mother's Day Bouquet #3--Jumbo Clothes Pin

This is just a jumbo clothes pin to put photos or memos in on a desk which I picked up in the dollar section of Michaels.  I made a flower with the Mother's Day Bouquet Cartridge and the buton in the middle of it is from Close To My Heart.  I then glued tiny pearls to each flower.  I didn't even repaint the clip as it was cute already.  This will make a great gift for my friend who just found out she got a school secretary job she really wanted!  It will look cute on her desk with a pic of her children in it.

"Ciao" Stamped Card #1

This card was really fun.  My sister sent me a new stamp set this week called "Ciao" from Close To My Heart, and I could NOT wait to use it.  I wanted a really over the top card and this is it.  First off, the card is 5 1/4 by 8".  I wanted a big card because the stamp is large. The card base is a textured buttercream yellow shade from the pastels stack by DCWV.  The scalloped background paper is by Colorbok and it is called Flea Market.  The image was stamped in pink with chalk ink then embossed  in clear to make it shine.  The sentiment was done the same way, and is also from the same Ciao stamp set.  This would make a great graduation card, but there are many occasions where this card would be appropriate.

Mother's Day Bouquet Card #2

Here is another very simple card I made today using the Mother's Day Bouquet Cartridge to make the flower,  and a large scallop punch from EK Success for the border.  The papers I have had for a while and I think I got them at Target, but cannot remember the designer, sorry!  The buttons are Recollections from Michaels.

"Your Story" Albums

click on images to see them full size
These little carstock albums from the Your Story line by Provocraft were so easy and fun.  I embossed each of them with Cuttlebug embossing folders and embellished them.  I added white sheets of cardstock inside to make them into journals or to have a place to glue photos to, and then bound them.  These are going to make great gifts, I can't wait to make more.

click on images to see them full size

I made these 10 cards for a Get Well card swap at http://queenofmycraftroom.blogspot.com./  They are A2 cards and I used the Paper Lace Cartridge.
